Appulate Launches Federated Login Support

Staff Writer | February 15, 2016

Appulate, Inc., a connectivity solutions provider for the property & casualty sector of the insurance industry, announces it has launched federated (OAuth2.0) login support.

OAuth is an open standard for authorization, commonly used as a way for Internet users to log into third-party websites using their Microsoft, Google, Facebook or Twitter accounts without exposing their password. This technology eliminates the need for an agent to deal with multiple logins for various carrier portal sites, a major pain point for insurance agents.

“Appulate is committed to providing solutions for the insurance industry that makes the lives of its practitioners a little bit easier” says Dimitri Nikouline, chief technology officer at Appulate, Inc. “Solving the multiple login problem is a further demonstration of this commitment.”

Appulate’s solution uses industry standards and open protocols that solve the multiple login issue in a user-friendly fashion, while maintaining rigorous security requirements to protect sensitive information.
