Appulate Launches Solution for Program Business

Staff Writer | February 01, 2017

Appulate, Inc., announces the launch of ProgramConnect, a rate/quote/bind solution that specifically is focused around insurance program business. The solution gives program administrators the ability to put their programs online and expose them to Appulate’s network of more than 25,000 independent insurance agencies.

Needing only access to the rates and underwriting appetite, Appulate can take a program and fully automate the rate/quote/bind process. This provides a modern and intuitive user experience that saves time and allows all stakeholders benefit.

“Our ability to bring both technology and distribution to program administrators results in a unique value proposition,” says Jeff Harris, Appulate president. “When you marry a good program with easy to use technology, the agents follow.”

Appulate is already under contract with several leading program administrators to automate programs for workers’ compensation, professional liability, commercial transportation, cyber liability and contractors’ liability.

“Innovation is no longer a foreign word in the insurance industry,” says Harris. “Everyone views technology as a key component to driving growth and that is why Appulate is so highly valued.”
