New Mexico Mutual Selects Agencyport Software

Agencyport Software announces New Mexico Mutual, the largest writer of workers’ compensation insurance in New Mexico, has chosen the vendor's AgencyPortal web-based distribution platform to provide modern web capabilities to its independent agents and ensure an advantage among increasing competition.

With $98.7M in direct written premium in 2014 and coverage of more than 7,000 New Mexico businesses, New Mexico Mutual is committed to continuing to focus exclusively on New Mexico and solely on workers’ comp.  Given this narrow business profile, New Mexico Mutual understands the critical role of superior customer service—for its policyholders, more than 400 in-state independent agents, and out-of-state agent representation.

New Mexico Mutual sought a web distribution solution that would be quick to deploy, intuitive to adopt and multi-functional for the greatest ease of use by agents.  The solution also needed to be highly compatible with Guidewire PolicyCenter, which had been chosen as the carrier’s policy administration system.
