Western National Chooses Insurance Scorecard

SNL iPartners announces that Western National Insurance Group has chosen SNL iPartners’ business intelligence and data warehousing solution Insurance Scorecard.  The enterprise-wide implementation of the solution will enhance use of actionable data.  The company is planning a quick time to value implementation with a production environment in less than six months.

SNL iPartners’ previous successful projects with two of Western National’s operating units were key to the decision.  Also contributing to the selection was the company’s history of delivering a proven P&C data model able to support Western National’s commercial and personal lines of business.

Commenting on the decision, Western National’s CFO Pete Corning said,

“Our business units have had a good deal of experience working with SNL iPartners in the past, so we know the value of the solution and the company’s expertise in data warehousing and core systems, especially CSC Point,” says Pete Corning, CFO of Western National. “We are confident in our decision to deploy the SNL iPartners offering as our enterprise-wide data warehousing, reporting, and business intelligence solution.”

Anticipated benefits from the implementation of the solution include:

  • The automated consolidation of Western National’s commercial and personal lines data, currently spread across a number of disparate core processing systems;
  • A common business view of the data for easier access, reporting, and analysis;
  • Self-service user driven reporting for improved and more frequent management reporting;
  • A data and reporting environment able to support Western National’s goal to further expand its data management capabilities.
