Blue Zebra Insurance Deploys the
MGA Agility Suite from Xceedance

Xceedance, a global provider of insurance consulting, managed services, technology, data sciences, and blockchain solutions, today announced that Blue Zebra Insurance (Blue Zebra) has successfully deployed the company’s MGA Agility Suite to modernize policy lifecycle management processes.

Blue Zebra required a flexible insurtech platform with modern functionality to compete effectively in today’s market. The Australia-based managing general agent (MGA) also required a partner with deep insurance knowledge to help minimize system implementation costs and operational risk.

“The MGA Agility Suite elevates our personalized, advice-driven service model, especially with its end-to-end broker and underwriter portal, and a configurable rating/pricing engine,” said Blair Nicholls, CEO of Blue Zebra. “This unique platform empowers our personal lines and small-to-medium enterprise (SME) business with highly-automated workflows and a streamlined policy lifecycle, which creates transactional efficiencies for our brokers while enhancing customer-centricity in our mutual operations. On a related note, at the recent Insurance Business Australia Awards, Blue Zebra was honored as the underwriting agency with the best digital strategy, in part due to the strengths of our platform.”

HAI Group Leverages Insurity

HAI Group Goes Live with Insurity’s ‘Policy Decisions Evolution’ and ‘DataHouse’ to Drive Cloud-based Transformation

Insurity, Inc., a leading insurance platform provider that offers policy, billing, claims, data analytics and digital enablement, announces that HAI Group is in production with Policy Decisions Evolution (PDE), Billing Decisions and DataHouse for its commercial output policy (COP) and commercial auto lines of business. HAI Group is a pioneer of niche insurance programs for the public and affordable housing industry, with more than $140M in direct written premium.

HAI Group sought to replace its legacy system with one that would increase productivity and improve the quality of data that informs management decisions. Insurity, with its intuitive end-to-end policy administration system on a single platform that includes billing, as well as automated updates to AAIS, was uniquely capable of supporting HAI Group’s needs. The integration with DataHouse also provides HAI Group with enhanced reporting capabilities through better data capture and processing to enable real-time decision making.

How Business Process Automation Reduced Human Error by 75%

MDP is an insurance company in specialty insurance on the East Coast of the US. The firm replaced its manual processes for proposal generation and broker onboarding with a completely customized, automated system using ProcessMaker. As a result, MDP improved the quality of its proposals and drastically reduced the time their product takes to produce.

Prior to implementing ProcessMaker, MDP used an agency management system which included standard features, with limited capacity for customization. Given the firm’s focus on specialty insurance, MDP needed a solution with more flexibility, which could adapt to the specialization and complexity of their business model.

MDP used a manual process in coordinating data between conducting analytics, presentations, and preparing briefs. This involved copying and pasting, or manually re-entering data between the agency management system, Microsoft Excel, PDFs, and other tools. The result was human error including typing errors, omissions, and disorganized data. Further, this manual process resulted in lost time and focus.
